2010 4-H RESERVE CHAMPION BOER GOAT MARKET WETHER |
Rebecca Hobby won the 2010 4-H Reserve Champion Boer Goat Market Wether at the Stanislaus County Fair. "Annie" was bred by Blevins Boer Goats and purchased by Rebecca Hobby. Annie is out of a Wildflower doe and our herd sire, William H. Congratulations to Rebecca and Annie!

2010 NUGGET ALL AMERICAN INVITATIONAL GRAND CHAMPION FULL BLOOD DOE |
BLEV Root Beer Sassy Y425 was the 2010 Nugget All American Invitational Grand Champion Full Blood Doe. The show and sale was held in Reno, Nevada, June 3 through 5, 2010. Sassy was sired by our herd sire, Ann 7B142 Root Beer out of a Boers by Hobby doe, Hobby Snort Daphane W077.
Thank you to everyone who came by to visit and supported the show and sale. We appreciate each and every one of you and enjoyed the many conversations.

2010 NUGGET ALL AMERICAN INVITATIONAL GRAND CHAMPION PERCENTAGE DOE |
GYLA Jokers Painted Lace Y416 was the 2010 Nugget All American Invitational Grand Champion Percentage Doe. The show and sale was held in Reno, Nevada, June 3 through 5, 2010. We purchased Lacy's dam, GYLA AE Sue Lynn Red Heart, from Gayle Roberts who was bred to Ann Classic Joke 7B274. We've kept Lacy's sister, a solid red doe, for our show string.

CALIFORNIA SUMMER CLASSIC, Dixon, California, July 2009
Hobby JR Caped Korri X154 took fifth in her class shown by Jon, Hobby WC Painted KKitty X321 shown by Lexi Olivera took sixth in her class, and Ann 7B142 Root Beer took third place in his class shown by Bill Hobby.

Shaggy - Reserve Grand Champion Market Goat, Yolo County 4-H Spring Show 2009

Shaggy, a September 2008 wether, was the Reserve Grand Champion Market Goat at the Yolo County 4-H Spring Show 2009 in May. Shaggy was purchased by Bridgettes Eldridge at the SmallTown Genetics Sale in Merced, California, in January. Congratulations to Bridgettes and Shaggy!

October Finale - Gridley, California
Blevins Boer Goats will be at the October Finale in Gridley, California, on Saturday, October 25, 2008. We will have some of our best does and our herd sire, Root Beer, at the show. Please stop by and say hello!
At the October Finale, Root Beer placed second in his class.
Judge Holly McShane had the following to say about the show:
"I had a wonderful time! This show was fun, relaxed, and I have never seen so many beautiful does in one place, except at Nationals. Ya'll should be proud of the work you are doing! It was a pleasure to meet you."
